Listed as erotic romance this novella definitely meets the criteria with its hot steamy love scenes. The writing is exquisite with detail given of the backstory and characters as well as the city of Madrid. Danny and Aisling may have been in a class together on the same campus in college but their one night in Madrid takes place years later and on more of an equal footing. I loved reading about the nightlife in Madrid, the way Danny was thinking as he moved from his original beliefs regarding Aisling to more informed ones and about the growing interaction and rapport developing between the two. The ending was a surprise and put a smile on my face.

This novel is intense in its descriptions of the interactions between Danny and Aisling. The reader is rooting for Danny the entire time and is hoping that this extended one night stand can turn into something more. Aisling, who at first seems to be such a strong, powerful woman, drops her facade to show how fragile she truly is. The backdrop of Madrid is beautiful and JD Martins does a wonderful job relating the breathtaking nightlife that belongs only to Madrid. This is a very short read and can be read in one sitting, but there is so much action that takes place within these pages. Be ready to have your world rocked when you read this excellent novella.

“Hot hot hot! Just wow! Im not much for this type of read but this kept my attention. I loved the characters Danny and Aisling. I liked how we the readers were learning about them as individuals and together. I love how Martins vivid descriptions let the reader in and truly see whats going on. Had Martins made this a longer novel it would have been a 5 star for sure.

“This is a short story that is definitely hot and steamy.

“For a short story, this was definitely a hot one.

What I did like about this book was the characters. For a short story I really became interested in them and the story, and I liked the ending too. I thought as far as substance went, the ending was the best part.

“Overall, I did like this story but I feel it would have been better if it had been a longer story with more information about the characters. I just wish there had been more! 4 stars.”

Excitement runs rampant!

This is a beautifully written story that features the Fiesta de San Fermin that occurs annually in Pamplona along with the running of the bulls. The scenery is described so well it is as though the reader is there, taking in the sights, sounds, smells, and flavors of the festival. Both characters are ambitious and strong headed and know where they are headed. The action in this story is very vividly described and one can see the running of the bulls and feel the dust that is kicked up and the casualties of the run. J.D. Martins delivers an exciting and erotic story sure to delight his many fans.
